Family Crisis Accommodation & Domestic Violence Crisis Accommodation

IYFC’s Crisis Accommodation programs offer semi-supported, short-term accommodation to families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, typically for a duration of three months.

Families are supported by our Homelessness Outreach Support Worker or Domestic Violence Support Worker through a case management approach. We work closely with clients to identify challenges, especially barriers to securing safe, stable, long-term housing. Support includes direct assistance or referrals as needed.

Clients are helped to complete or update Social Housing Applications and explore other options such as private rental. Those in Domestic Violence Crisis Accommodation are encouraged and supported to apply for a Domestic Violence Order if they do not already have one.
